Kids room product sculptures

News / 08 September 2018

It's a pleasure to work for producers of physical products, such as a publisher of home decorations and kids room products. I created the 3D sculptures for two new products that have just been introduced: a unicorn money box and a Swan light in two sizes.

News / 15 May 2018

Yee-haaww! My Blender 2.8 Code Quest rocket USB stick keychain arrived today. I've bought it to support the development of Blender 3D 2.8, and of course because it's a neat little wannahave gadget. 🙂

A Little Lovely Duck in a store

News / 14 April 2018

During a visit to the Dutch city of Utrecht, I attended the Keck & Lisa store, where A Little Lovely Company's Duck lights were happily sitting on a shelf. I was the Duck's 3D modeler for A Little Lovely Company, and seeing it actually displayed in a store results in a warm, fuzzy feeling. 🙂

3D duck model for A Little Lovely Company

News / 06 April 2018

For a while now I’ve been sculpting 3D models for physical products, such as this cute little Duck light.

I’m proud of the result, and holding a physical version of your digital sculptures is a magical feeling, especially if it lights up. But even cooler is knowing that thousands of children across the world will fall asleep next to my illuminated sculpture, and that it will become a childhood memory.

The photos were shot by my wife Natasja. Check out her website dedicated to cuteness: Kao-Ani.
